Services

**Insurance/Payment:  I accept some insurance plans through The Lactation Network (TLN). If you have MultiPlan (look on your insurance card for their logo), BlueCrossBlueShield (Regence or Premera), Anthem, or Cigna, you may be covered for in-person (home/office) and telehealth visits. I am also in-network through TLN for Commercial members with UnitedHealthcare for in-person consultations. Follow this link to submit your insurance information and see if your plan is approved. For all other insurances, I accept payment via credit/debit card or FSA/HSA card at time of service, and I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. In an effort to keep lactation care accessible to all, I accept sliding scale for those unable to pay the full amount. Please contact me to discuss.

About me

About Me

With a background in postpartum nursing care and maternity-focused public health, I discovered my passion for helping families feed their babies and so became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2012. I worked as a Lactation Consultant at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle for 8 years before moving with my family to this beautiful valley. I have three school-aged children (all with very different breastfeeding stories!) and a wonderful husband. When not helping families with breastfeeding, I can be found out hiking with my dog, practicing hot yoga, and playing with my family in these beautiful mountains.

My Approach

The journey of breastfeeding one's child is perfectly symbolic of parenting - there is sometimes uncertainty, pain, and discouragement. But there is also hope, deep fulfillment, and personal growth, through not only the successes but the challenges as well. Perhaps you have just had your baby and are feeling overwhelmed at the unexpected feeding difficulties you are experiencing. Or perhaps you are still expecting and want to prepare for your upcoming breastfeeding journey. My goal for our time together is that you come away feeling empowered with knowledge to make decisions that are right for you, as well as encouraged and nurtured in the hard work of mothering. I am here to help, and I look forward to hearing from you.
